There was no escaping Randy Orton’s reign of terror at WWE Hell in a Cell, and that is exactly the way it panned out for Drew McIntyre, who failed to defend his title on Monday.
WWE Hell in a Cell 2020 results: Randy Orton wins 14th time Champion
Drew McIntyre, who outlasted Orton in a brutal showdown at Summer-Slam, fell short when Orton pinned him clean, with an RKO to become the WWE Champion in the main event of Summer-Slam.
Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso (Universal Title)
Hell in a Cell fight began with Roman Reigns versus Jey Uso in an “I Quit” match inside the dreaded cage. After a long and dramatic end, where Reigns defeated Jey Uso, the Big Dog made Jey say “I Quit” when he locked a guillotine onto Jey’s twin brother Jimmy. WWE legends Afa and Sika were also on the stage to congratulate Reigns on his win.
The Miz vs. Otis (Money in the Bank Contract) MITB
While theWWE Hell in a Cell 2020 began with Otis having the upper hand, it all changed towards the end with a great betrayal by Tucker (as he nailed Otis with the briefcase) and helped the Miz cover him for the victory to win the Money in the Bank Contract (MITB) contract.
Bayley vs. Sasha Banks (SmackDown Women’s Title)
Two Beltz Banks and Bayley Dos Straps meet in a SmackDown Women’s Championship (WWE Diva’s) Hell in a Cell Match where it was Sasha Banks who ended Bayley’s historic reign.
Jeff Hardy vs. Elias ended with a DQ.
Bobby Lashley defeated Slapjack.
R-Truth defended his 24/7 Championship on the Kickoff Show, taking on challenger Drew Gulak.
