Odisha Train Accident live Video Updates: 238 people died and 900+ injured

this accident is one of the worst railway disasters in India. This accident happened in Odisha’s Balasore district.

The train crash happened near the Bahanaga Baazar station in Balasore district, about 250 km south of Kolkata and 170 km north of Bhubaneswar, around 7 pm on Friday, prompting the Railway Ministry to order a probe.

While speaking to ANI, Railways Spokesperson Amitabh Sharma said that the rescue operation has been completed. He further added that Kawach was not available on this route.

“The rescue operation has been completed, now we are starting the restoration work. Kawach was not available on this route,” he said.

PM Modi will go to Odisha today and visit the accident site and hospital.
