What is Autoimmune Myositis?
Autoimmune Myositis causes weakness in muscles OR in skin and muscles.
If weakness in muscles its called Polymyositis and weakness in skin and muscles is called dermatomyositis.
What happens in Myositis?
Muscle damage cause muscle pain and muscle weakness. It may cause difficulty lifting the arms above the shoulders, climbing stairs, or arising from a sitting position.
