Kriti Sanon Latest News: According to latest reports, Kriti Sanon tested positive for the coronavirus (Covid-19) after returning from a shoot at Chandigarh. She had just complete her schedule of her upcoming film with Rajkummar Rao.
Kriti Sanon Latest News: Kriti tests positive for Covid-19
Kriti Sanon had recently returned from Chandigarh, where she was shooting for an upcoming movie with Rajkummar Rao. She had even shared a picture on her Instagram account announcing that she was returning to her home after wrapping up her schedule in Chandigarh.
Kriti Sanon has not shared any post on social media yet to confirm that she has tested positive for Covid-19. Kriti had told the papparazzi in Mumbai that she would not remove her mask even for a second.
Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor recently tested Covid-19 positive. The two were shooting for Raj Mehta’s Jug Jugg Jeeyo. The film also stars Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani, who have tested negative for Covid-19. The shooting of the film has now been halted until the actors are healthy.
Anil Kapoor had shared a statement, “In the interest of putting any rumours to rest, I have tested negative for COVID-19. Thank you all for your concern and good wishes.”
Varun Dhawan shared a picture of himself on Instagram to confirm the news. The actor mentioned in the post that despite following proper Covid-19 guidelines on the sets of Jug Jugg Jeeyo, he had contracted the virus.
He captioned his post, “VITAMIN FRIENDS So as I returned to work in the pandemic era I have contracted covid-19. All precautions were taken by the production but still nothing is certain in life especially not covid-19. So please be extra careful I believe I could have been more careful. I see the get well soon messages and my spirits are high taking each day at a time thank u (sic).”
On the work front, Kriti Sanon will next be seen in Mimi alongisde Pankaj Tripathi and Sai Tamhankar. She plays the role of a surrogate mother in the film. She also has Bachchan Pandey opposite Akshay Kumar whose shooting will begin in January 2021. Kriti was last seen in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s Panipat alongside Arjun Kapoor.
Kriti Sanon started her Bollywood career with the 2014 movie Heropanti opposite Tiger Shroff. She then went on to star in movies like Dilwale, Bareilly Ki Barfi, Raabta, Luka Chuppi, Panipat, Luka Chuppi and others.
