ITR Filing Last Date 2020: Due to Coronavirus crisis in the country, taxpayers have got a big relief. ITR Due Date Extension to September 2020 by The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT).

Information has been given by the Income Tax Department. The department has said that in view of the Corona crisis, the income tax return filing date for the taxpayers is being increased from 31 July to 30 September.

  • The Income Tax Department tweeted, ‘CBDT has extended ITR Filing Last Date for the year 2018-19 (AY 2019-20) from 31 July to 30 September, for the constraints faced by the Corona epidemic and more easy compliance for taxpayers. Has done by 2020.
  • Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said during a press conference that the Central Government, through a press conference of May 13, 2020, announced that the income tax return filing date for the financial year 2019-20.
  • The deadline has been extended from the normal deadline till 31 July 2020 to 30 November 2020.
