On this weekend, Alka Yagnik along with Kumar Sanu and Udit Narayan are seen as special guests on Indian Idol 12. The episode will be seen hosting a 90s special Singing battle between Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu.
All the girl contestants will be seen on Kumar Sanu’s side and the boys will be with Alka Yagnik. Indian Idol 12 contestant Arunita impressed Alka Yagnik with her mesmerising voice.
Indian Idol Season 12 Contestant Arunita Gets Blessing From Alka Yagnikji
Arunita, beautifully sang a Agar Tum Sath Ho from the film Tamasha. Her soulful performance left everyone in mesmerized, especially Alka Yagnik and Kumar Sanu, who couldn’t stop praising her. Alka was so impressed by Arunita’s performance that she gifted her a Goddess Durga’s idol as a special gift. She also mentioned the idol would be like a blessing for her from her side.
Praising Arunita, Alka Yagnik said, “You have a very sweet and melodic voice and once someone starts listening to you, the person will automatically become your fan. You are a very calm person, be like that and let nothing affect you.”
Alka also advised Arunita not to get affected if people call her ‘behenji’ as the gift she has, no one has it. She also revealed that people used to call her behenji as well but she never got affected by the comments.
