Former Cricketer Sachin Deshmukh: Former Mumbai cricketer Sachin Deshmukh passed away from Coronavirus (COVID-19). He died on Tuesday at Vedanta Hospital in Thane.

Sachin Deshmukh Passed Away Due To Coronavirus (Covid-19)

Former Mumbai cricketer Sachin Deshmukh has died from Coronavirus (COVID-19). He was 52 years old. According to his friends statement, he refused to be admitted to the hospital, while he had a heavy fever for several days.

After 9 days, it was found out that he had a covid positive. Lt.Sachin Deshmukh was a brilliant cricketer. In his time, he won the Ranji Trophy for both Mumbai and Maharashtra. But he did not get a chance to playing XI.

Sachin Deshmukh was a Great Batsman (AKA Mini Gavaskar)

A newspaper wrote to his friend Abhijeet Deshpande that Sachin Deshmukh had made a run at the 1986 Cooch Behar Trophy under his captaincy. He scored 3 centuries in five inns, which included innings of 183, 130 and 110. Abhijeet played school cricket with him. Deshmukh used to work as a superintendent in the Excise and Customs department in Mumbai these days.

Sachin Deshmukh Made 7 Consecutive Centuries in 7 Matches

Sachin Deshmukh created a unique record for scoring 7 centuries in 7 matches at the time. He was a great batsman in the middle order. According to former India wicket-keeper Madhav Minister, Sachin was a very talented and gifted cricketer. A close friend of his, Ramesh Vajge, said his death is a message to everyone not to take Coronavirus lightly. In fact, Deshmukh died due to late hospitalization.
