The 20-second clip shared by Colors showed Salman asking Rahul if he was uninterested in staying in Bigg Boss 14 any longer, to which the singer replied in the affirmative. As an angry Salman pointed out his ‘lack of enthusiasm, lack of interest towards being on the show’, Rahul offered to explain himself.
Salman refused to listen and said, “Koi zaroorat nahi (There is no need).” He then pointed towards the exit and said, “Please leave the house, Rahul.”
In a longer promo shared by Colors later, Rahul said that Abhinav Shukla is undeserving of being in the finale. When Salman asked Rahul what he did to ensure that Abhinav does not reach the finale, he replied, “Task mein kisiko dhakka maar ke woh kursi le loon aur uske baad mujhe trophy mil jaaye, yeh mujhe manzoor nahi hai (I am not okay with pushing someone in a task and winning the trophy).”
When Salman questioned why Rahul did not have the ‘desperation’ to win Bigg Boss 14, he replied that it was ‘open for judgment’. Rahul added that he should not be judged on the basis of a single task.
Rahul expressed his desire to take the option to voluntarily leave the Bigg Boss 14 house given to him by Salman. “Mentally strong hoon but not without family,” Rahul said. Salman then seemed to lose his cool over Rahul’s ‘lack of interest’ in Bigg Boss 14 and asked him to leave.
Former Bigg Boss contestant Andy Kumar aka VJ Andy responded to reports suggesting that Rahul has been evicted from Bigg Boss 14. Cheering the possible development, he wrote on Twitter, “Is it true? @rahulvaidya23 is evicted? I hope it’s true! 1st Time I’ve felt like this about an eviction.
