Akshay Kumar now donates Rs 3 crore to BMC

Akshay Kumar has come in with the help of the workers of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). Akshay Kumar has donated Rs 3 crore to BMC. The money will be spent on masks, testing kits and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). It may be recalled that Akshay Kumar had earlier contributed Rs 25 crore to the PM CARES fund.

According to sources, when Akshay came to mind that personal protective kits were not enough in India as in other countries, he immediately decided to help financially. BMC’s Joint Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ashutosh Salil said in a press release that Akshay Kumar had contacted the commissioner a few days ago and talked about donations. They are very happy with the actor’s words.

He is confident that this money will not be stuck in the process and will be able to buy various items immediately, at present he cannot afford to be late. Money given by Akshay Kumar will go to the General Fund and will take masks, gloves, rapid testing kits, personal protective equipment.

Presently launched the Dil Se Thank You Campaign

Akshay Kumar has just started a “Dil Se Thank You” campaign. Under this campaign, Akshay Kumar thanked the police, corporation workers, doctors, nurses, volunteers, government officers, feriawalas, guards. In this post Akshay Kumar wrote his name and city and appealed to others to do the same. Akshay Kumar said that we can do this by sitting in the house.
